  1. I adore my in- loves. They adore me. And I could not and would not live with them.

I want to continue the adoration, therefore no, never. We are simply too different to live together.

  2. Yes. For two weeks between closing on the sale of one house, and closing on the purchase of another. It was miserable. My FIL worked midnights so I had to get our two toddlers up and give them breakfast and basically get them out of the house for the majority of the day. We spent a good amount of time at the library and at various McDonald’s playplaces. My MIL wasn’t happy with the house we bought and said we should’ve lived with them longer until we found a better one or even had one built. She loves having family around, especially her grandkids, so I get why she liked us there. Both her and my FIL are awesome people. But no way could I live there indefinitely while we looked around for something else or, god forbid, the X amount of months it would have taken to get a house built.

  3. Never thought about it, never would consider it! I’d sleep outside in my car 1st!

  4. Due to a natural disaster destroying our house, yes. We were grateful they were so generous and grateful when we were able to move back out. I would never do it for funsies.

  5. When we first started dating in our early 20s, yes. If I remember correctly, her family moved and she was sleeping in the living room, getting constantly interrupted and walked in on. Her siblings are very inconsiderate.

I asked my parents if she could move in to my room. We got our own place after a while and have never lived apart again.

  6. Unfortunately, 3 years married and we’re still living with her folks. However, we all get together super well and it’s a huge house.

  7. Her mom continues to live with us as she moved in as soon as we got our place (mil was living at her moms house before that). Although some perks definitely would not suggest it.
