Probably the same way that it feels for women🤷🏻♂️
Another typical day. Rejection is something almost all men go through and it’s part of our dating culture.
Doesn’t happen as often to women so they take it much worse
Like you’ve been seen for everything you are, and you were spit at for being exactly that. Pure vulnerability, particularly when the other person knows how you feel. It’s quite humiliating.
You can’t change for the other person to make them love you back. You can’t change them, because that means they aren’t the person you loved. Same goes for yourself. Your brain will remind you.
Just every day really, I love people a hell of a lot more than they love me back. You just move forward and hope one day you find someone who’ll love you the same
Agonising. Physically and emotionally.
Its soul crushing sometimes..
Painful. Probably no different from what women and non binary people feel when they go through feelings of unrequited love.
Nonetheless it’s best not to stew about it regardless of gender because that just stresses you out and makes you miserable.
It hurts, of course.
Like it does for a woman
Hopeless. Trying to gauge what the difference is can be frustrating.
Unrequited crushes are part of the relationship process.
In fact, for most of us, few of our crushes actually blossom into love.
But when it does, it’s awesome.
You die a little inside, but afterwards you’re glad that you experienced it. Because the pain burns everything away inside of you that isn’t supposed to exist anyway.
feels like blue balls
Not that bad if you keep in mind that you’ll get over it with time
Soul crushing.
I wouldn’t know
Like slowly being sucked dry of all life energy while screaming into the void. Chasing for the light at the end of the tunnel that moves ever further away, sometimes it’s almost in your reach but quickly darts away. Like being teased with water while dying of thirst.
When it’s not a friend: It feels like shit, you avoid the person and move on after some time.
When it’s a friend: It feels like shit and you get scared of losing a friend over it. So, you oscillate between giving into the feelings and hating the fact that you have them until the friendship dies or until the feelings gradually dampen to a point where they feel like afterthoughts. This is even worse when the friend has expressed interest but decided to not pursue a relationship (I’m there atm, it sucks).
Hell. Don’t bother.
Draining.
0/10 do not recommend.
