I’m going into my sophmore year of college. So far I’ve made a small group of friends but I really want to branch out more. Last year I think I struggled to come off as a friendly person, I’ve been told I seem really unapproachable and just downright like I dont want to be bothered. Last year I also struggled a lot of with social anxiety, but since starting my job which involves being really social all day, I seem to struggle less with it, so I’m hoping next year will be better. Does anyone have any tips?

  1. I’d say to axt in direct defiance of your fears and anxieties

If you’re afraid to walk yo to a group of people, be mad and frustrated that you’re afraid and walk up to them. Spit in the face of your fears

Whether or not you were successful, you rebelled against your current and negative attitude. Good job

  2. Find a club you’re interested in! Even if you don’t stay friends with everyone, having a group of like minded people who share a common interest is a good place to start.

Usually from there you can meet club members’ friends, roommates, etc, and form a good group
