Has anyone had to ask themselves if they’re a rebound or if she’s actually interested in you? If so how did you finally figure it out?

Was long ago(in a distant land I Aku…) but I wondered if I was the rebound because her last bf at the time was an employed dude in his late 20s who was in a band and I had just started my first year in varsity. Like back then my self esteem wasn’t the best so I was a quiet skeptical why a girl that pretty(at the time) wanted to date me. I figured it out after a month of vibing and one date when she ghosted me and then I saw her post a pic of a new guy on Instagram two weeks later. She was also the first snowbunny I ever met.
