I am an introvert and have a ton of friends (namesake) online, whom when I talk IRL or sometime over the phone, I have a decent one time conversation. But then I am unable to keep to keep the connection alive. Since everything is remote, I have come to realise that keeping or building on a connection is only possible remotely, and I am super bad at texting. I started sending memes, but that didn’t turn out to be that well, as the conversation ends in only me sending memes and the other person reacting to it or it just becomes a meme sharing thread, no genuine connection develop. I feel I have to start afresh when I meet / connect with the same people the next time.
How can I develop genuine connections or maintain the connection via text or otherwise?
