8. Paying more for a “for women” version of a product. I was young, but still.

9. I got scammed of my Runescape stuff in the early 2000’s. Damn you, guy who promised you’d upgrade my armor for free!

12. Almost fell for a remote work job scam that was targeting recent college grads. I wasn’t familiar with how a normal job interview process was supposed to look. They used legit questions but it was all on a Google meet chat.

    Luckily I questioned it once they told me I was hired immediately after I finished the questions. They wanted to send me a fake check to set up a home office.
