So I’m 28 and a virgin (yeah yeah I know…) and I’m kind of worried that my vagina is too small. I’ve been masturbating for a long time and I’ve collected some vibrators over the years, but even when I’m aroused and use lube, it still hurts when I insert them.

One of them is around 3cm or 1.2 inches in diameter, and once that one is in, it’s ok and I can move it. But after 10 years it still hurts to insert it/get it past the first few centimeters. Then there’s another one that I got that turned out to be slightly wider (especially near the top) than the previous one, even though the specifications also said 3cm but there’s definitely some difference. I manage to get it in with quite some effort, but that one I can’t move in and out/back and forth because that’s just too painful. I can just sort of wiggle it a bit back and forth once it’s in and that I can enjoy because at that point the widest part is already in. But the fact that it always takes time and some pain to get it inserted in the first place is annoying because I can’t just grab it and glide it in, even though I’m wet. Pulling that 2nd vibrator out isn’t the best feeling either…

I can easily insert one of my fingers, but trying to get 2 in is already too much and painful and uncomforable. I genuinly worry that (the entrance of) my vagina is smaller than average or something because after years of trying to use small to average size vibrators, I’d think that it shouldn’t be that much of an effort anymore to get something that size in (let alone an average penis one day). I realize that this would probably be a question for an obgyn, but I don’t really feel comfortable to go in just to ask that, especially at 28..

  1. Not gonna lie, that sounds too small for most penises. That being said, I wouldn’t underestimate the effects of a partner who *really* turns you on and helps you climax before any insertion. Plus you might try looking into a set of vaginal dilators.
