(16 M) So yeah the title explains it all- For most of my life I lived in Japan (i’m half Japanese and half white) and went to a private school. Now I’m starting my Junior year in high school at a US public school (California) and I have no idea what to expect. For most of my life, I have never interacted with white people, everyone around me was Asian. Are there any tips or things I should look out for? What should I expect?

Expect a lot of different ethnicities, it depends where in California. I think most people will be friendly, welcoming, and interested in meeting someone from a foreign country. They will like to learn about your culture and experiences. But as with anywhere else, you could meet some not so nice people.
