Of course, it was my otp because i identified with it. Now that I’m older I have other things indentify with.

And now whenever I see anime, or watch a fun anime cut scene, I start feeling cringe. Like heavy cringe.

Does anyone feel it too or is just me?

  1. My earliest exposure to anime was *Robotech*, the English-language adaptation of *Super Dimension Fortress Macross* and two others. The characters and situations really got my teenage imagination working overtime. Parts of it are a bit “soap opera” in retrospect, but I didn’t know then since I wasn’t into soaps (and still amn’t). I think I was a bit in love with Lisa Hayes, and some of the themes were quite mature, but it hasn’t aged too well.

  2. You just need to watch better anime, Redline, Akira Evangelion, it’s not the medium, it’s the content.

  3. I think any “man” who watches anime is kind of pathetic to be honest. But thats just me.
