TL;DR I (22F) matched on a dating app with a guy (25M). We live in different cities. He gave me a surprise visit, and it was in those 10 days that I fell for that guy. I have confessed I love him, but he is good with actions and not words, so he never really said he loves me. Should I just try to move on?
We still talk after 7 months, but due to the long distance, we never really had a relationship. I tried to cut off contact, but he always stays no matter what. He says I am a very close friend and I am like home to him.
This guy has stayed by me and understood everything about me. He never made me feel bad about anything, he gets all my references, he motivates me to be my best self, and I feel so attached to this guy. He is a random stranger I met on a dating app, and somehow we both feel at home with each other.
I don’t know what to do. Should I move on? Or should I just let it be? He hasn’t ever stopped me from dating anyone else, but I have feelings for him. I can’t just leave him.

He obviously cares about you but not in a romantic way. If you cannot accept that then you are missing opportunities to find a real relationship. You have to change you attitude and see him as a mate because when he finds someone he is interested in romantically your pain will be worse.
