Wanting to meet neighbors, not sure of next steps

I’m a single dude and I moved into my home a few months ago. Next door to me is a young couple, around my age. I have seen them but they never seem to be outside when I am but they seem like cool people. But I never know how to introduce myself.

A few days ago someone posted about learning roller blading on our Facebook page, which honestly I’ve kinda wanted to learn.

So I looked into who posted the post and I see on his facebook profile a photo of his home and it’s my neighbor!

So now I’m not sure what my steps should be. I’d really like to have some friends and my neighbor would be nice.
