Do a search on running shorts. You should find a range of inseam lengths from 2″ up.
Chubbies are the pricey name brand, Bare Bottom are a solid 2nd tier option
Lululemon is a good, albeit overly expensive, brand for workout shorts. I like their underwear too. Just stay away from their shirts, never bought a shirt there I wasn’t disappointed with.
I got a pair of 5.5″ inseam shorts and they very quickly became my favorite workout shorts. Bought a couple pairs the next day.
Wildly expensive though. Their target market is upper middle class women, so you’re paying a premium just for that.
That being said, I’ve looked for cheaper options that are comparably comfortable and have not found one yet. Still looking though.
Look up ranger panties. There’s a lot of option and I wish I could help.
Why do you want Booty shorts? I don’t understand. Is this cuz you were in the marine corps?
I like my Vuori shorts. Baleaf makes decent shorts too if you’re looking for a budget option.
Patagonia baggies are pretty solid for the price but you can find a lot of better alternatives under running shorts
I’ve got two pairs of Adidas 5″ gym shorts. I got them at Dick’s for about $40.00 each.
People actually wear those? My junk would be hanging out the bottom if I wore something that short.
I like vuori, lululemon and ten thousand for really nice quality stuff.
target has some decent ones too but they’re running shorts and just have one small pocket. new balance running shorts are also decent but aren’t very stretchy, so I wouldn’t recommend them for stuff like squats
Under armour has some good ones. I’ve owned several pairs of their 5″ launch shorts.
Nike probably has some too, look online
Nike running shorts. They might be a bit annoying for the gym, but i think they’d do the job (I only run, so can’t be more helpful, sorry)
Edit: lol at the conservativeness regarding very normal short length, specially to exercise. Hell, I’ve worn 5.5” inseam shorts for *work*.
Why would a guy want shorts that short? I Personally wouldn’t wear anything shorter than … maybe a 8 inch inseam. Most of my shorts hit just above the knee.
I try to picture 5.5″ inseams and images of Richard Simmons start coming into my mind.
