No it would not be rude. Be prepared to show your results too.
Why would it be rude? Verifying STI test results is part of being a responsible sexually active person. Show them your results too.
There’s still an element of trust involved (how many people they’ve slept with since, if they slept with anyone too soon before getting tested, etc), but it’s better than not seeing them.
No.
And if they take it as rude they aren’t smart enough to take sex with.
Totally fine to ask. Since STI results are never going to be up-to-the-minute accurate (other than one of those rapid HIV tests), I recommend also asking whether they’ve had partners since their last test, and if so, what degree of protection they used. You can decide on the level of risk you’re comfortable with once you know what you’re actually risking.
Not rude at all. I’ve asked both of my previous partners for results. But I’m also prepared to get tested annually to assure I don’t have to deal with STIs
It’d be stupid to NOT share STI test results in this situation. I get tested 3-4 times a year just to always have recent results for sharing with different partners and for if I’m doing scenes.
