Ask about their classes
Then tell them about your classes and mention your favorite or worse ones.
Ask them which is their favorite or worse based on your previous topic. Act like you’re interested but disagree with what they said and why. (Oh I can’t believe you hate math, thats my best one,all “A’s”). They’ll defend their position and you’ll debate a little.
Ask what their plans for the future with their degree. Now switch and agree with them. (You want to be a nurse? That’s cool. Helping people out is always good and the money is good). People love it when you give support to their goals.
