I went on a first date last Friday and it was decent. I had a good time and we got along fine. We have similar interests and similar goals. I just didn’t feel that romantic attraction, you know? The last guy I dated, I could not wait to kiss him. I felt a connection instantly. I was physically, mentally, and emotionally attracted. I can’t tell if I’m just comparing this new guy to the last, or if there really wasn’t any attraction.

In retrospect, I talked to the last guy daily for three weeks, by text, call, and video chat, before we met in person. There was a lot of buildup before finally seeing him. However, I only talked with this new guy very briefly over a dating app before meeting in person.

We have a second date planned. I predict that I will enjoy hanging out with him again, but I want to know if I want to pursue a romantic relationship or not. I figure a kiss is a decent way to test if there is any physical chemistry before I invest more time into him. Your thoughts?

  1. Yep you should no point in waiting. A kiss is a good way, one of the main ways to me seeing if that spark is there
