What? Whoever said this is delusional and has clearly never been in an actual relationship. I’ve never heard of this happening, the idea that this is typical is completely fictitious. Just tell her you like her–like a normal person.

It’s more likely you’re assuming they’re attracted to you and then they make it clear that they aren’t actually interested in you.
