Could you help me on what to do for the girl I really like, she beautiful, quiet, kinda sporty, smart but not nerdy, and is hardly noticed by other guys. We had one class with each other last year and I talked to her a moderate amount, and I tried on text but she’s not the always on the phone type, I don’t have any classes this year but I do get to see her when I visit my friends between classes, and I kinda just don’t know what to do. I tried to talk to her friend (girl 2) to get closer to her (girl 1) and I ended up over heard them taking about how they though I like girl 2, which caused me to try and just stop talking to girl 2 for a bit to try and talk to girl one but I always tried on text and it was very dry. I try crack a joke or small talk when lever I see her but it feels so awkward, I can’t tell if it’s just cause I find her extremely attractive or that she’s not into me. halp
TL;DR can’t talk to shy girl, cause I feel hell awkward

Invite her to dinner something with you! Like a movie or play a board game or a walk through a park. Or if she’s sporty maybe a run. Or ask her to have lunch or dinner with you.
Try to ask questions with open answers (not yes no questions) to give her opportunity to open up. For example, instead of asking ‘do you like soccer?’ ask ‘what is your favorite sport?’
