I am 24 years old now. Fair and with almost no beard at all, not even the hair follicle. I’ve never had an issue with it as I used to tell people I will look young in my 30s too. But I do admire people with beards. I look really young among my age people and sometimes this becomes the whole conversation. I did my testosterone tests and they are all fine. What should I do?

So what. I save on razor blades since I can skip a few days a month. I had family members with beards, sideburns, mustaches – and I couldn’t stand being near them as a kid. I prefer my smoother face.
I guess having another choice would be nice, but I didn’t even try not-shaving until I was in my 30s. When I realized it wasn’t going to work, I was already pretty committed to keeping a smooth face.
I genuinely don’t care much. Most women i know hate beards and hate the trend for them.
Kinda cool have a can of shaving cream last me two years.

I can easily grow a beard but look very weird with it. So I stay shaved. Look good with a shadow though.
I know some dudes use minoxidil, it works pretty well.
As a guy who can easily grow a beard, those who can’t do the same aren’t missing out on much. Facial hair can look good depending on the guy and depending on the style, but if you plan on growing it out, you have to deal with hairs getting coarse and itchy after a few days. Also, facial hair can make you look older. Some women do like facial hair, but you’ll also hear from many who don’t.
Try a sonicare toothbrush i swapped to it and started noticing hair growing in after a month. Idk if its because of the vibration massaging it or what’s going on but its working for me.
I don’t get this “man with a beard” obsession.
It’s hotter in the summer, it requires extra maintenance… Why bother?
P.S. none of my girlfriends liked me when I my face was anything other than cleanly shaved.
I’m almost 40, I can’t and probably never will be able to grow one. Doesn’t really bother me, but its annoying having to shave more often than someone that can. It looks so bad… patchy would be an overstatement.
You just work with what you’ve got.
I’m 28 now and about the same, the most I get is scruffy so I shave weekly. I stopped caring about a year and a half ago so maybe you should just wait till then.
Short of cosplaying as Hitler it does not really effect me.
