This is an incredibly random thought and I rarely watch ESPN or sports other than fall football.
I saw a top ten list from their daily sports center show and saw some pretty crazy things…that were totally boring because of how easy and cheap it is to record these days.
Kids will record for days trying to hit a shot or do some crazy stunt.
Back in the day, someone would catch an insane moment by chance on VHS. No one was recording via camcorder all day long over days and days, no one could afford it. When you saw a crazy stunt, it was literally a crazy stunt that seemed impossible that someone caught on tape, the odds seemed impossible.
Now you just see the results of practicing the same thing over and over until they randomly hit the target, it loses so much of that cool factor of doing something amazing with just one try, kinda like you’re watching a sports moment that gets a redo over and over until they get the result they want, there is no excitement to it.
Anyway, random thing to be annoyed by as I grow past 40 and start to get annoyed by everything in life. Toodleloo…
