Anyone else relate? I absolutely hate it when someone I know wants me to meet someone else in their life, be it their partner, parent, friend, coworker, or whomever else. I would never ask to do so so I don’t know why they must bring that upon me. I have no interest in meeting the other people in someone’s life, it has no relevance to me because mine and their lives are entirely separate and we’re only bonded together by whatever it is that brought us together in the first place, be it a common interest or environment. I have no interest in dating/romance either because of this, you’re expected to meet someone’s friends/family and I have no interest in it because I never asked for it.

  1. This is generally how interpersonal relationships progress. They open up more of their life to you in various ways. In a way it’s a compliment
