By this, I mean things that could enhance color to your lips/cheeks, things that brighten your skin, etc.

  1. Looking after yourself quite simply, I always look my best when I eat well, avoid sugar and alcohol, get lots of exercise and drink lots of water. I wish it weren’t the case sometimes, but it’s the truth!

  2. Makeup that adds color to my face is the most “effective” to me bc I think I lack it, but some friends of mine have wonderful naturally pink lips/cheeks! Help lol !

But to answer my own question, I think cleaning the eyebrows (important to not overpluck) gives it more emphasis and somehow seems darker. Exfoliating chemically brightens the skin!

  3. My skin always looks better when I exercise regularly, get plenty of sleep, and lay off the beer and Nutella.

  4. Choosing a hair colour that compliments your skin colour *and* tone. I see so many people go with a colour or tone they thought looked good on someone else, but that isn’t at all suitable for themselves and makes their skin look ashy, lifeless, or flushed. You might not even have to change hair colour or go darker/lighter, sometimes just correcting the coolness/warmth of your existing colour makes a huge difference.

  5. My glasses. No amount of make up, can make up (hahaha, what a pun) for the way my glasses make me look better!

  6. Drinking plenty of water, cleaning my face and moisturising first thing in the morning and before bed and using sunscreen.

  7. Eat your vegetables.
When thirsty, drink water. When wanting a snack, drink water. I’m not a drink gallons of water kind of person. Just keep hydrated.
    Exercise.
Use sunscreen, even in winter, even if it’s a cloudy day. UVA rays are still there.
Take good care of your skin.
Get your eyes checked, make sure you don’t need glasses. If you need glasses, wear them – that way you won’t squint and get all sorts of wrinkles.
Wear sunglasses, even on sunny days in winter, when at the beach, when on mountains/high altitude. It’ll not only protect your eyes but also make you not squint.
    Sleep enough.

And yes, I agree that keeping brows nice is a must. As they say, it frames the face. I get them threaded – just enough that they are neat.

Find a good hair stylist especially those who are good at wash and wear cuts/styles. A good hair cut does wonders.

  8. My skin looks flawless thanks to a combination of my dermatologist, medication and skincare. I don’t even wear foundation any more because I don’t need it.

  9. Drinking water and taking supplements. I also find after I’ve done cardio like a run, my lips look extra full and rosier from all the blood pumping, as well as my cheeks. I’ve always had a natural rouge from that 😅

I also like doing some ‘face yoga’ exercises. Dunno if it actually works but it makes me feel better!
