Tv show white lotus and how they treat the son vs the daughter

In this tv show the parents are always treating the son like is is dumb and stupid, and always yelling at him for every single little thing he does, and they would always blame every single thing that happened on him when he never did anything. They would always treat him like an immature dumb child that always did stupid things when he would never do anything like that and they would always be like ‘oh my god I cannot stand him’.

Exactly how they treat the son is exactly how my mom has treated me my whole life, and continues to treat me now even though I’m 23 years old. I never did anything fucking stupid she would just always treat me like that no matter what I did, and she never stopped doing it I’m 23 and she still does this. She says she never stopped treating me like this because I never stopped acting like an immature child that acts dumb. But she never stopped treating me like that which is why I think I was never able to grow up and move past that and act any different.

But they never treated the daughter like this at all, they never questioned anything she did, they never blamed her for anything or talked to her or treated her like a dumb child. She would sneak around and do a bunch of things behind her parents back that she wasn’t supposed to do like pills and smoking weed, they would never question her or even guess she was doing anything wrong or even think about blaming her for anything to begin with.
