I (23m) got a phone number (22f) earlier today. Should i send a “Hi, this is ___” text or should i wait or should i say “hi this is ____ let’s hangout on ___ date”.

Basically, what should i do next? Take it slow and just say Hi and see where everything goes or straight up ask her out?
