5 years ago deleted all my social media apps ( Facebook/Instagram ) mostly had on facebook school and my neighborhood friends which by that time my chat log is always empty I don’t talk to anyone of them there or not even irl and they don’t text me and don’t post anything because I had no social life that worth to share and anxiety from typing any kind of text posts and that got me depressed eventually by high school decided to cut all ties with every single one of my contacts and isolate myself and just play games and make online friends which didn’t turn out to be good to me recently started working like couple month ago and very near by for some reason somehow became part of friends group meanwhile started going to physictarist to help me out since I wanted to change around same time I became part of this friends group

My question is it weird that am embarrassed from sharing new Facebook/Instagram accounts empty ones and adding people that I recognize from work, and I don’t want to go into loop by going through the same thing especially if this friend group turns out to be temporarily and we don’t stay for the second part prob will be fixed with therapy inshallah

  1. Don’t feel bad. People probably won’t notice or care that these are new accounts, and if they do they’ll just be curious and you can tell the truth: you deleted social media a few years ago and now you’re restarting. That’s totally normal, people do that all the time for all sorts of reasons (its too addictive/too toxic/whatever).
