1. Mad Max, Fury Road.

   All of them.

   Every single action scene is an absolute masterpiece.

2. Blade Runner: 2049 opening fight scene with Bautista and Gosling. That scene triggers me it’s so well made.

3. “The Thin Red Line” – attack on the machinegun pillbox.

8. I’m trying to pick one out of the John Wick movies, but I can’t. If I ever see the movie playing, no matter which scene it’s on, I drop everything and watch till the end.

12. Heat – bank robbery shoot out in downtown LA

    Arguably one of greatest action scenes ever filmed.

13. The robbery shoot out from Heat. The sound work on it is amazing.

14. Not combat-style action, but the docking scene in Interstellar.

    Also, most of the action scenes in Top Gun Maverick are just intense.

15. First Space Marine ambush in Aliens.

16. Vader thrashing the piss out of those pesky, terrified rebels at the end of Rouge One

17. Anything in Raiders of the Lost Ark—honestly anything from any Indiana Jones movie but especially the boulder scene from the first movie.
