Wife and I have been together about a decade and we’ve settled into a very satisfying sexual rhythm. We know what the other likes and consistently have pretty intense sex for about 20 minutes involving multiple orgasms for her.
The other night we were having sex and, as I was really getting into it, she said “let’s be quicker; I only wanna get off once because multiple ones are too much sometimes.” I’m assuming this is a fairly normal reaction if fatigue is a factor (it was about midnight), but just posting to see if anyone has had similar experiences or if I’m doing something wrong.

She wanted sex and for you to make her feel good and still wanted a good nights sleep, and so wanted it quickly because it was late. Not too much to stress over I dont think mate, as long as you provided one good orgasm im sure shes happy

Every woman has her own relationship with her orgasms; the range of ways women experience orgasm is huge. Sounds like your wife is capable of multiple orgasms; awesome! Also sounds like those take a fair amount of energy out of her, and sometimes she just wants to cum once and call it a night.
Sounds like she’s doing a good job communicating with you, and good communication makes good sex SO much easier. 😉 Just take her at her word and keep giving her what she’s telling you she needs, and you’re good to go here.
