I don’t expect anything of them. That’s a me problem, it’s exhausting to have to reach out to someone, regardless if it’s out of your control from a mental health issue. My friends are always there for me, and understanding, and that’s all I can ask.
With memes and gifs usually. That’s how my friends break the ice, receiving the occasional “I’m thinking of you, here if you need me” type message can also help.
