Just want to know some interesting and cute inner jokes between couples who are married.

How does it help you as a couple to keep things flirty and full of humour?

  1. I’ve acted in school and community theatre productions. One superstition there is that you don’t mention the play MacBeth if you are in a play, as it is considered bad luck. Instead, you can refer to “The Scottish Play.”

When my wife and I were in college, a lot of our driving routes to see family involved McDonald’s restaurants. We took to calling it “The Scottish Place.”

  2. We call each other Frederick when we are ready to leave or to do something. For example as I’m grabbing my purse for us to walk out the door I’ll say “Hey Frederick!” It’s started when we were dating and were making some silly jokes about the phrase “ready Freddy?”

  3. We honey mooned in Greece (and wed there!) And one of our tour guides would explain something then go “hmmm?” Constantly. We kept giggling over it. I told him it reminded me of a reality star who would say something then you, “you understand?”

So I’ll randomly go “hhhm?” And he’ll respond “you understand?”
