Apparently in much of the UK they run rampant. It is a recurring complaint on r/AskUK.
It seems the city of Portsmouth is the worst because it’s their big navy town.
Is there anywhere in the USA where they’re notably worse than elsewhere?

Most people who regularly have a problem with bouncers are, in fact, the actual problem.
I have literally never encountered an issue with a bouncer. Y’all are wild.
I simply behave myself at bars and therefore do not have issues with bouncers.
1. If you have a problem with a bouncer, you’re probably being the problem.
2. There are too many bars to break this down by city.
Any talk about “bad bouncers” among my friends ended when we were 21.
Bouncers are just there to keep things safe and in compliance. It’s wild to me that so many people have a problem with that. Just behave?
Only issue I’ve seen with a bouncer is my friends 100% valid Id came up as fake in the machine. So he took it and my friend wanted it back. At the end of the day the guy was just doing his job
