1. yhyh i used to do it all the time sometimes people cool and you become friends or maybe more and sometimes people are just like ew go away but i say you try it out

2. Online “social protocol” is different not only from IRL but also different in everyone’s opinions, anyway. But your message might not show up for the person unless they go out of their way to check messages from non-contacts, if I remember correctly. There’s settings people can set.
