I used to engage a lot in society but have recently changed my views after many years of frustrations. The main things I’ve noticed.

1. Everyone is in bad moods. You can’t smile or speak with most people without them thinking you’re a creep.

2. People are impatient and lack spatial awareness.

3. Everyone is ready to criticize every small mistake you make

4. The General public or service workers criticizing, being direct, snarky, snide comments with you but get mad when you do the same to them.

Numbers 3 and 4 made me change my behavior. You have to be somewhat of a assertive asshole to get any type of respect. If you’re polite in any way people look at you weird or feel entitled or even take advantage. Now I’m not an asshole but I am more assertive and don’t do out my way to be kind anymore. Anyone experience the same?

  1. 1. Cap. Most people have different moods and are not in a bad mood 24/7 (Exception are Ohio and the Saarland)

    2. Nope

    3. Nope

    4. You get respect from others, when U like yourself and have an self-confident persona

  2. This hasn’t been my experience except for maybe 2. It sucks that this is how you are experiencing things

All I can say is that you can limit how much other people and what they do affect you
