Men of Reddit, can you taste a difference in your partner before and after a period? Does it deter you from eating them out? Have any of you started off not liking it, but grew to like it? Would you be okay with your partner not being as enthusiastic about oral as you, and therefore live with it.
Sure I want someone who is as enthusiastic as I am but I know sometimes people take time to come around, but sometimes they also never do.
Most of the partners I’ve dated in the past enjoyed it and wanted to do it at any time.
I’ve been seeing and talking to a guy for almost a year. It’ll be a year in December. We aren’t exclusive but aren’t necessarily seeing other people either. I’ve caught feelings, and I’m contemplating if this is a deal breaker.
My last ex at the beginning of our relationship was not a fan of giving oral, I could never relate because I love giving it. After the 1st year he came around, I’m not sure what changed but it’s something he loved and enjoyed doing.
I’m trying to be respectful of the guy I’m seeing now and his preferences, but it’s difficult because I enjoy giving oral and it’s hard for me to wrap my mind around someone who will only do it depending on where in my cycle I am. I’d like to hope he’ll come around like my ex since we aren’t officially dating but coming up on a year in a couple of months makes me feel really unstable.

I can’t really taste any difference. I’ve given her oral before, after and even during her period and it all tastes the same to me lol. I have notices though that it’s a stronger taste the more turned on she is. Never been bothered by it.
