Yo that scene was devastating. Suddenly I was imagining what it would be like to loose my dad. I was like 5 đ«
Mufasa’s death had a profound impact on me because it represented the loss of innocence. I was no longer able to view the world through the lens of childhood wonder and instead saw the harsh realities of life and death. Mufasa’s death also showed me that even the strongest and most powerful people are vulnerable and can be taken from us at any moment. This realization has made me appreciate life more and has helped me to live in the present moment rather than constantly worrying about what might happen in the future.
Meh.
I only remember watching Hercules and The Black Cauldron growing up
I always cheered for the villains anyway, their songs were so much better
Is that the lion from the disney cartoon?
By the time I watched it, I’d seen enough memes about it that it was just kinda part of the movie.
You know what, ya’ll are gonna hate me for this but I’ve never actually watched the full movie lol
Both my sons lost it. Same with Nemoâs mom. Same with Bambiâs mom for me when I was a kid. Wtf Disney? Donât give me that âlife lessonâ bS
Nothing. I came to know it was a big deal years after.
I cried in the theatre
I saw Mufasa die on Broadway for the first time a few months ago and was blown away.
Very first time I saw it I was probably like 3 or 4, I didn’t care lol. I probably didn’t realize what it meant.
First time seeing it that I actually remember I was probably like 10 or 11, wasn’t all that sad. Hardly got to know the guy before he died.
Who is mufasa?
I…don’t remember. I watched Lion King and Lion King 2 like, a dozen times as a small child. But I don’t remember it having a major impact on me.
That’s really weird…
