I been in school forever and ive worked lots of jobs but either was going through something or didnt reach out..so all i can think of doing to say hi is dming people ive run into or those who’ve randomly shown any kind of interest in me but theyre no longer interested at all…

Well, why should they be interested in you and why should they respond to you ? You didn’t connect with any of these people in real life it seems. You can’t just expect people to respond to you online if you never built a genuine connection offline.
