So today I met this girl, she is kind of nice and I asked for her number; later today we were texting and she randomly says “I’m not gay…” I don’t understand. I never said she was and I don’t understand why she said that or what she’s trying to tell me??? I asked her and she won’t answer.

  1. this is gender dependent – if you are a man, I… *think* it might be a come-on? like, a very very clunky one…?

    and if you are a woman or non binary person then I would take it to mean the opposite, that she’s read you as queer and would like to clarify that she only has platonic intentions towards you.
