Go to a random pub that has a halloween themed thing.
Everyone is in costumes, everyone is looking to have fun, no one will care that you are there alone (and nobody can tell, either, most likely).
Also, I realized one year on Halloween that because you are in disguise, the way people perceive you when you talk to them has nothing to do with how handsome (or not) your face is. Pretty eye-opening at the time.
