I’m 24 and I’m still an awkward person unfortunately for many reasons. I realize this is… kind of pathetic at my age. Most people aren’t like this and I’m wondering if I’m really just behind in my development or if other people also get very awkward around someone they’re attracted to in their mid to late 20s…

I was 24 and she was 36, in a laundromat.
Years later she said I got the call back because I was awkwardly cute but still “stepped up” and had a convo, then gave her MY number saying “would love to know more about you.”
Had a text by the time I got to the car.

You are a little behind, but honestly it’s not that bad, there are guys in their 30s who can’t even make eye contact with a woman. I used to be really shy when I was around 19/20. Felt anxious, had no confindencr no matter what people told me, Now I’m 26, been with Atleast 20 women at this point, and you know what, I still get nervous at times. One of the mose common reasons for shyness is being uncomfortable with who YOU are as a person in public, so it can prohibit you from knowing how to act, or what to say. The cure is to develop a level of love/confidence for yourself.
