My friend’s best friend asked why she even hangouts with me

My friend and her best friend and I all hangout 3 times. The first time it was a normal hangout and she said she rlly liked me. The second time we went to prom together and the best friend ended the night by crying in the bathroom stall bc she wanted to leave early and we didn’t. And we tried to reason with her but it ended up in a argument. The last time we went to a party and had fun. I thought she liked me I have social anxiety and I’m kinda a dork so I get called weird a lot. Anyways fast foward to yesterday my friend ended up saying that the girl said this abt me “why do you even hangout with her, do y’all talk shit abt me? Y’all were so rude to me at prom night” and that made me upset bc i don’t want her not liking me bc she thinks I’m weird even though my friend said it was nothing like that. Does it seem like she thought I was a weirdo
