Any upwards comparison makes you feel bad. That’s why you should avoid it at all costs. The only person you should compare yourself to is your past self. Try to notice when you engage in social comparison and see what the triggers are. Try to remove the triggers or be less reactive to them. The less you compare yourself to others the better you will feel. Focus also on small achievements and improvements. The process of improvement is more important than any sudden big result.
Maybe focus on what you need to do to raise that number?
I knew a dude who was at 0 till he was like 30-31, now he is in a happy relationship and thriving. I also knew guys at 100+ who were loser coke heads. So keep in mind that success is relative. What is meant to be for you will be. Just focus on self improvement. Be the partner you eventually wish to have and one day it will happen.
Don’t worry bro you’ll have a redemption era
What makes you feel jealous or feel bad about it? Is it, that you see, that you would have actually similar potential. Or simply, that you don’t live the same life. Also, why not take that frustrating emotion of feeling jealous, to change something about your situation?
