Sometimes I say or ask something which later on with a little thinking feels so wrong. There are situations when my friends were very upset because of them. After everything is over i realise how wrong it was but when saying it it feels normal. I have tried think and talk but at that instant think part just doesn’t work straight! It’s like I lose all my sanity even when I’m talking to people whom I’m very comfortable with!

  1. Having no filter can be okay but if you are just saying flat out rude things and you can’t even figure out if it’s rude at the time then you need some sensitivity training or something

  2. Yeah I’ve had a spate of doing this. Really just working on pausing before reacting.

    Take some time away from the conversation or just pause for a moment and think about the bigger picture rather than the thing you’re currently hyper focused on.

    Sometimes our anxiety gets the best of us and we just react, work on some self soothing, breathing exercises and remember to think about whether you’re falling into thought traps.
