  2. I think daylight savings should be fucking abolished. I was optimistic; I thought, hey maybe with the clocks rolling back I’ll have a bit of light outside when my alarm goes off.

    I was wrong. So now, the sun is already setting when I get off work, AND I still wake up in darkness. Daylight “savings” straight up stole an hour of light from me.

    Daylight losings, more like.

  4. Ever have one of those days at work where you’re just completely bored? I have stuff to do, and I’m doing it, I just don’t have as much enjoyment as I normally do.

    I know “liking your job” is taboo on Reddit, but I genuinely enjoy data analysis and report building. Maybe I need to take a day off this week

    I’ve been playing Victoria 3. It’s okay but Paradox really should have delayed it 5-6 months to dedicate to full on bug fixing.

  9. I finished watching The Bear last night (late to party, I know, revoke my Chicago card). It was very good, but I’m still a little unclear on something:

    So the last episode ends with >!Carmy finding all the cash Mikey squirreled away in the tomato cans. And it looks like he’s going to use that money to fulfill his dream of opening up his own restaurant. But wait: Mikey owed Cicero (the loan shark) something like $300,000 (and after Mikey’s death the debt was transferred to Carmy). So isn’t Cicero going to get suspicious once Carmy opens up a new restaurant while still owing him money? And wouldn’t there have been better ways for Mikey to give his brother the means of opening his restaurant without saddling him with all this debt?!< What gives?

  13. How would Americans feel about an NFL team relocating to the UK?

    The owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars also owns a London football team (FFC) as well and they play quite a few exhibition games around London. They’re the most likely to move (although still pretty unlikely). I think the logistics of trans-Atlantic games would be a challenge.

    I would love to see a team of English players in the NFL because of the shithousery that would result if we won against any other team. Rugby league isn’t too dissimilar to gridiron football and we could probably assemble a fairly decent team.

  14. How I wish the Boston Bruins President Cam Neely and GM Don Sweeney would get fired. Read up on the story of Mitchell Miller and why this shithead shouldn’t be anywhere near professional sports.

I have family that gets those mail to your door meals and they all come with one or two ice packs, they reuse them for the most part because we’re fortunate to have a lot of freezers but I never thought about how much waste there is with them. Those of you that get mail delivered meals what do you do with the ice packs, and I guess the insulation packaging also. Do y’all recycle them, trash them?
