Lately I’ve been trying to work on my social skills, expect I can’t really find anything / anywhere to go.
People tend to put their kids back in public school for socializing reasons, so tbe options for teens are more limited.
The only times I really get out of the house is when I swim / skate. When I skate though, normally I’m by myself
This is mostly a rant, but I’m curious if any homeschoolers have had problems with this

Repeated contact with the same group of people is what leads to friendships. In your case, team sports or going to a summer camp may be options to consider.
I was homeschooled partially as a kid, from the ages of 9 to 13. Are there any programs in your area where homeschooled kids can meet up with each other? That is what I did as a kid, and I made some friends that way.
