is it normal that my boyfriend does these things?

He has never hit me but he seems to do some things with (some) abandon. For e.g.:

1. When going up an escalator, lightly flings his waterbottle onto the step in front of him, making a lot of noise. Not sure why he can’t just hold it?

2. When on the train, lightly flings his mobile phone on the plastic seat next to him, also making a lot of noise. Why can’t he just put it on his lap?

3. Flings his bag on wet table, mask touching the dirty-ish water. Probably wore the same mask again after that. Why can’t he just put it on the chair next to him??

4. He does it every day with different belongings.

Noteworthy: he has some issues managing his anger — he has been complained that he is rude at work recently. Other than the times he’s more aggressive, he’s actually very loving and we’ve been through a lot together.

I’ve been with him 2 years and tried to change my beliefs that I’m the one with the restrictive mindset but till now, I don’t understand him, and I’ve never seen someone who’s done 1 or 2.

It really annoys me because I don’t like to attract attention to myself and it comes across as kinda.. low EQ..

Comments about us being incompatible etc. won’t be helpful, I am hoping for people who can shed some wisdom on how I can manage this difficulty better.

TL;DR I think my boyfriend has a strange aggression about him and I need advice on how to understand him better.

Well, it’s an incompatibility. He has aggression issues but doesn’t think there’s an issue, and you’re hellbent on changing it because this clearly bothers you.
