He’s 19 I’m 25 and just moved to long distance after a very intense year. I was his first relationship and a few days ago we talked about our feelings and how he felt he wasnt sure if he was ready for a long term relationship.
I understand, I want him to have experiences as I have done when I was his age. We are going to be in touch and he said he loves me and wants to do things with me. He also said he totally sees us married in the future. But now he needs time. And I actually need time too: I jumped from a 6 year relationship to our relationship. For a year we have been all-in and we both feel we have an incredible connection. But it is just not our time. He is going to visit me in around a month and we will discuss this in person.
I know he is too young and has a lot of things to experience yet (so do I!) but I have anxious attachment and it is being very hard.
