Do you tire easily? Changing the rhythm sometimes helps with that so you don’t get burnt out fast. You try to develop a medium pace, and this will be done through lots of practice of course. If you know you won’t be able to keep a fast speed, try not to start off fast because you may tire yourself out easily.
You could start slow to help build your momentum, then speed it up and then when you feel your legs getting tired, bring it back to the original speed you were at
Try working with the bedspring’s natural bounce and gradually increase the intensity in cooperation with that bounce
