So I’ve never dated before in my life and wanted to give it a try (19) M. I started to get more active on instagram and one girl that is quite attractive liked my post. I really didn’t considered it for about a month or so bc it really isn’t something big right? Anyways like right now I decided to follow her private account back (mines open) and it took I think 1 or 2 days before she accepted my follow request. I liked some pictures of her and suddenly she liked some pictures of me back + followed me back* (so I followed first sorry for confusion and I know there are a lot of „backs“ 😅). And yea, I really don’t know how to start this and how I should „slide“ into the dm‘s. I’m a guy that is overthinking stuff like this a lot since I’ve never done stuff like this (I realized that recently when I spoke with my friends about it), I get nervous when it comes to online chatting really easily but can be really chill in person. So any tipps how I could probably start this?

Maybe just start with a “Hi!” or a “Hey, how are you today?”. It doesn’t have to be overly complicated at all, especially since this is the first conversation with her.
If you want to do something specific, maybe look at her recent post and comment about something within the post. “I saw your recent post! Your dog is cute, what’s it’s name?” or “I saw your post, I like star wars too!” as random examples.
