Sadly not. Family members met Charles a fair bit though, unfortunately. Say that he’s very nice, also unfortunately.
Yes, she came to my school. I was a young boy stood at the front and she kissed me on the cheek! As it happens I stumbled across the newspaper clipping the other day.
I saw her at a walkabout at Broadlands, my brother was in a pushchair at that time, with my coat resting on top of him. Prince Charles asked if there was anyone hiding under there, Di probably just muffled a giggle.
No I never met her.
Never heard of him.
My grandma and mum met her. Apparently she was lovely, she spoke to my mum about my brother (she was holding him as a baby at the time)
After she died, I was at Harrods looking at the tribute flowers when an American came up to me looking really sad and said
sorry for your loss, did you know her well?
I was so tempted to say
yes we had afternoon tea together every Tuesday.
