So, I (29/F) was chatting with this guy (36/M) for some time until I decided to invite him for a videochat. He agreed and suggested facetime. So, I gave him my number. However, after that, he stopped responding. When I asked him a week after, he said he got too many matches and messages get buried quickly. He also said that he was out of town. He didn’t realize that I sent him my number and felt embarrassed for not responding. He also assured me that he is not ghosting me.
I replied with it’s okay. Not your fault. But thanks for telling me. After that, no reply again for 2 days now.
My question is, is he really interested in me? Or maybe there’s a clue there that signals that I did not stand out. That there are much more interesting women in his chatbox?
I like him coz he seems nice and genuine and passionate about what he’s doing. But I also don’t want to push myself to him if he’s not interested. It’s just that I’m still a newbie to this online dating.
Also, I’m new to this town and he lives an hour away from me.

I feel like based on his actions he is playing games and that you should move on. However, others might disagree with me.
He may be catfish or have a girlfriend. Either way what is doing is red flags, leave him alone! There are most fish in the sea!
One you are way younger than him and two he’s not interested
He’s not interested. Move on and good luck.
