I (13F) am having a rough time at the moment because I’m helping my best friend through a very rough time in their life. They have attempted to kill themselves a few times and are hanging on by a thread. They ask why I love them, and me being SUPER awkward with feelings I give a cheesey half hearted answer. They hate themselves and think that they are shit. They say it all the time. They aren’t a pick me, they are someone actually having that rough of a time. Any advice?

Often times we feel love has to be earned. It doesn’t. They feel undeserving of love yet love doesn’t care if you think you’re deserving or not.
