In Italy, beside still/sparkle water, we also have thermal spring water in our supermarket, the most famous is called “Uliveto” it has a stronger taste than water and is naturally sparkly.

Do you have something similar in the US?

  1. Not really.

Where I live (Wisconsin), flavored sparkling water has only really started to become popular with young people in the last 10 years or so. You can find plain sparkling water like perrier in some supermarkets but I’m willing to bet most people here have either never tried it or actively dislike it. Sparkling water that smells like sulfure would be nearly impossible to market.

  2. So it’s a naturally sparkling mineral water… I think we mainly have mineral waters with the carbonation added to it. When I google, I only really find Gerolsteiner from Germany sold here.
